Sunshine Academy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mathematics Special Needs Teacher to join our professional faculty in Medan. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students feel safe to explore mathematical concepts. You will work closely with children who may have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Dyslexia, or other developmental challenges. Your primary goal will be to bridge the gap between complex curriculum standards and the individual cognitive abilities of your students, ensuring no child is left behind.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) focused on mathematical literacy and problem-solving.
- Adapt standard mathematics curricula into simplified, manageable lessons for students with special needs.
- Utilize multisensory teaching techniques and visual aids to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining detailed records of academic and behavioral milestones.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary specialists to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and specialized intervention strategies.
- Create a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (PLB), Mathematics Education, or Psychology.
- Previous experience teaching children with special needs is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of different learning disabilities and adapted teaching methodologies.
- High level of patience, empathy, and emotional resilience.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail regarding student documentation.
