Join Adient's dynamic engineering team as a ME Process Engineer (Metal) and drive excellence in manufacturing operations. In this critical role, you'll spearhead the development and optimization of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes to enhance productivity, quality standards, and cost efficiency. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless production launches, manage welding equipment lifecycle, and implement robust quality control systems. Your expertise will directly reduce manufacturing defects while championing continuous improvement initiatives that align with Adient's global engineering excellence standards.

- Develop and optimize GMAW welding processes for metal components
- Implement quality control systems to ensure product specifications
- Support new product launches through process validation
- Manage welding equipment maintenance and calibration
- Analyze production data to reduce defects and improve efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen/CI)
- Collaborate with production teams on process troubleshooting
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience in metal fabrication processes
- Expert knowledge of GMAW welding principles and equipment
- Strong statistical process control (SPC) implementation skills
- Certification in Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing preferred
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM and process simulation software
- Experience with automotive industry quality standards (IATF 16949)
