The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive ME Technician (NPI) to join our manufacturing engineering team. In this highly visible role, you will be at the forefront of bringing new products to life. You will work directly with project and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless transition of new designs from prototype through to mass production. This position is critical to optimizing manufacturing processes, improving yields, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency for our global customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Project Engineers to support the seamless introduction of new products (NPI) into production.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment and test fixtures specific to new product builds and pilot runs.
- Perform process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Create and update detailed work instructions, process flows, and manufacturing documentation.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for production operators on new assembly processes and equipment.
- Analyze process yields and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce defects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Provide robust technical support to resolve assembly, testing, and quality issues during the NPI phase.
Who we are looking for:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment; NPI experience is highly preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of mechanical assembly, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with process documentation (Work Instructions, PFMEA, Control Plans).
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
- Effective communication skills in English and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

- Support project and manufacturing engineers in the successful introduction of new products (NPI) from concept to mass production.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment and test fixtures to ensure optimal performance during NPI builds.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Process, Quality, Design) to resolve technical issues during early production stages.

- Document and update manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process flow charts.
- Conduct training for production operators on new assembly processes and equipment.

Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Technician in a manufacturing environment (NPI experience is highly preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical assembly, tooling, and fixtures.
- Proficient in using measurement tools (CMM, calipers, micrometers) and reading technical drawings.
- Experience with process documentation (Work Instructions, FMEA, Control Plans).
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
