Kobelco, a globally recognized leader in construction machinery, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanic to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and Labuan. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of Kobelco construction machines both in our workshop and at customer job sites. This role is crucial in ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance, thereby supporting our customers' productivity and success.
In this position, you will conduct comprehensive machine inspections, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and execute major repairs and overhauls. You will also be expected to complete detailed inspection reports, manage parts inventory, and collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on Kobelco construction machinery (excavators, cranes, etc.) in both workshop and field environments.
- Conduct comprehensive machine inspections to identify faults and wear, and complete detailed inspection reports.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic system issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Carry out preventive maintenance according to manufacturer schedules to minimize downtime.
- Execute major overhauls, component replacements, and system upgrades as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and machine history.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the service team and communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in repairing and maintaining heavy construction machinery, preferably Kobelco or similar brands.
- Certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and electronic controls.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic software and tools for equipment troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately within timelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and teamwork.
- Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel to job sites within Sabah and Labuan.
