Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and precision mechanisms for advanced manufacturing equipment using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo).
- Perform engineering calculations, including stress, thermal, and tolerance stack-up analyses, to ensure design integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and systems engineering, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with proper Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with industry standards.
- Lead prototyping, testing, and validation of design concepts, diagnosing failures and implementing effective design improvements.
- Coordinate with procurement and external vendors to source components, review fabricator capabilities, and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and engineering change notices (ECN).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing or precision engineering industry.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design tools (SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and casting.
- Excellent knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material selection principles.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, with a structured approach to troubleshooting mechanical failures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional team environment.
