As a vital member of the core engineering team, you will be responsible for the complete mechanical design lifecycle of advanced custom automation equipment and machinery. You will work on challenging projects that require innovative thinking, precision engineering, and a collaborative spirit. You will tackle complex design problems, utilizing cutting-edge SolidWorks software for 3D modeling, simulations, and FEA analysis. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop advanced automated machinery, equipment, and tooling for the new factory setup.
- Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and comprehensive bill of materials (BOM) using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate design concepts and ensure reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to select optimal materials, standard components (motors, actuators, sensors), and external vendors.
- Oversee the prototyping, assembly, and testing phases, actively troubleshooting and refining designs for performance and manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, engineering specifications, and operation manuals.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment at the factory site, ensuring smooth handover to the production team.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automation, robotics, and mechanical design to drive continuous innovation within the team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in mechanical design, specifically within automation, machine building, or manufacturing equipment.
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks is mandatory; experience with Inventor, Pro/E, or NX is an added advantage).
- Deep understanding of mechanics of materials, pneumatics, hydraulics, kinematics, and structural analysis.
- Experience with precision engineering, including tolerance stack-up analysis and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Solid knowledge of various manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and welding.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, practical approach to engineering challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural MNC environment.
