Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for industrial automation? Prestech Industrial Automation Pte. Ltd. is looking for a proactive Mechanical Designer/Draftsman to join our dynamic engineering team in Kampong Ubi. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings and design specifications that drive our manufacturing projects to success.
You will work closely with our senior engineers to develop robust mechanical solutions, ensuring all designs adhere to high safety and quality standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret design requirements and project briefs.
- Ensure all mechanical designs comply with local safety standards and internal quality requirements.
- Update and maintain technical documentation, bills of materials (BOM), and revision control records.
- Perform field measurements and site verification as necessary to support design accuracy.
- Assist in the selection of mechanical components and hardware for automation assemblies.
- Proactively identify design improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer, Draftsman, or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD/CAM software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drafting standards, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
