Join Bescon Consulting Engineers Pte as a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer and shape the future of sustainable building infrastructure. This pivotal role involves planning, designing, and administering complex M&E projects for building services, ensuring systems meet stringent safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions across commercial, industrial, and residential developments while optimizing energy performance and operational sustainability.
Your expertise will drive the successful implementation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, with a focus on lifecycle cost analysis and compliance with Singapore's Green Mark requirements. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, design, and document mechanical/electrical systems for building services including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection
- Administer M&E contracts, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections, technical reviews, and system commissioning for M&E installations
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for building services projects
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure project alignment
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's Building Control Act, Fire Safety Act, and sustainability regulations
- Manage project documentation including drawings, calculations, and as-built records
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering
- Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) with the Singapore Board of Engineers
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E engineering for building services projects
- Proficiency in engineering software including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM tools
- Deep knowledge of Singapore's building codes, Green Mark standards, and fire safety requirements
- Strong project management skills with experience in contract administration
- Certification in LEED or BCA Green Mark preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and client communication skills
