ingenium Advance Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Resident Engineer / Inspector of Work (IOW) to join our dynamic team in Selangor. As a key member of our site management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing mechanical and electrical installation works, ensuring full compliance with approved specifications, Malaysian standards, and regulatory requirements. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in maintaining construction quality, safety protocols, and project timelines.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments of mechanical and electrical installation works throughout all construction phases
- Monitor and verify compliance with approved technical specifications, design drawings, and Malaysian engineering standards (MS standards)
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, progress documentation, and quality control records for project stakeholders
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution
- Attend site meetings, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices
- Review and approve mechanical and electrical shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, installations, and systems prior to testing and commissioning
- Identify potential defects, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on resolution to maintain construction quality standards
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in M&E construction supervision, site inspection, or resident engineering roles
- Proven track record in conducting quality inspections and technical assessments on building or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian building codes, MS standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in technical documentation, report writing, and engineering software applications
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality assurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams
- Professional certification or membership with recognized engineering bodies (e.g., BEM, MBAM) will be an added advantage
