Bureau Veritas is a leading global provider of testing, inspection, and certification services. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer 1 specializing in Mechanical & Plumbing to join our dynamic team in Gresik, East Java. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission to ensure quality, health, safety, and environmental protection (QHSE) across a wide range of industrial projects. You will support senior engineers in conducting technical assessments and ensuring that mechanical and plumbing systems comply with international standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct on-site inspections of mechanical and plumbing systems to verify compliance with applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API) and client specifications.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and inspection records with high accuracy.
- Assist in the review of technical drawings and specifications for piping, valves, and HVAC systems.
- Monitor the maintenance activities of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify technical requirements and provide engineering support.
- Ensure all inspection activities strictly adhere to Bureau Veritas quality management systems and safety protocols.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or plumbing inspection and engineering.
- Familiarity with API 510, 570, 653, or equivalent industry standards is highly desirable.
- Strong technical writing skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a strong plus.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Valid Indonesian driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites within East Java.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
