Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for consumer electronics products using CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo).
- Perform structural analysis, thermal management modeling, and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure product reliability.
- Create detailed 2D technical drawings and bills of materials (BOM) for manufacturing procurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, industrial design, and firmware teams, to achieve seamless product integration.
- Manage rapid prototyping cycles, including 3D printing and mock-up fabrication, to validate design concepts.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews to optimize production costs and efficiency.
- Conduct product testing and failure analysis to resolve technical issues during the development phase.
- Support the transition from prototype stage to mass production, working closely with local and overseas manufacturing partners.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in the consumer electronics or high-precision manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, or PTC Creo).
- Strong understanding of material science, plastics injection molding, and metal stamping processes.
- Proven ability to interpret technical specifications and apply GD&T standards in design.
- Experience in thermal and structural simulation tools (FEA) is highly advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
