Softex Indonesia is a leading consumer goods company, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Karawang. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence by leading mechanical process improvements, reducing production variability, and minimizing defects.
As part of our engineering team, you will design, implement, and maintain innovative systems that ensure our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver who is passionate about industrial automation and continuous improvement methodologies to help us achieve our ambitious business objectives.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and execute mechanical process improvement projects to enhance production efficiency.
- Analyze root causes of mechanical defects and implement sustainable corrective actions to reduce variability.
- Design, develop, and integrate innovative mechanical systems and procedures into the production line.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing goals are met on time and within budget.
- Perform regular maintenance audits and equipment performance analysis to ensure operational safety.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen/Lean) to optimize machine uptime and throughput.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for mechanical equipment failures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proven track record of executing process improvement projects and mechanical systems design.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLC, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of lean manufacturing and root cause analysis tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure manufacturing environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
