As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in construction, you will play a pivotal role in the successful completion of building projects by ensuring all mechanical systems are installed correctly and function optimally. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the entire mechanical installation process, from initial planning to final inspection. You will collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to design and implement mechanical systems that meet building codes, safety standards, and client requirements. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying and resolving any mechanical issues that may arise during construction. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Ensure all mechanical installations comply with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Conduct regular inspections to verify functionality, safety, and quality of mechanical systems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate mechanical systems effectively
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans
- Manage mechanical subcontractors and coordinate their activities with other construction teams
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems during construction
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
- Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Excellent project management and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
