As a Mechanical Engineer in a mission-critical data center environment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous, efficient, and safe operation of our facility's infrastructure.
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex mechanical systems, including HVAC, precision cooling (CRAC/CRAH), chillers, and ventilation systems. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of data center mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, and CRAC/CRAH units.
- Develop, implement, and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions, coordinating timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Monitor environmental parameters such as temperature and humidity to ensure optimal operating conditions for IT infrastructure.
- Ensure all mechanical operations strictly comply with safety standards, local regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, IT, and facilities teams to support seamless data center operations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably within a data center, industrial plant, or large-scale commercial facility.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, precision cooling, and mechanical power distribution.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential system failures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on a contract basis and available for on-call emergency response when necessary.
