Are you a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer looking to make a significant impact in the fast-paced tech industry? C&W Services is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Kulai, Johor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the seamless operation, maintenance, and optimization of critical mechanical systems within our state-of-the-art data centres. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that cooling, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems run at peak efficiency, directly supporting the high-performance demands of modern IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and drive energy-saving initiatives. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and air handling units (AHUs).
- Monitor and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and identify potential faults.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports, work orders, and inventory logs.
- Collaborate with project teams to assist in facility upgrades and retrofitting projects.
- Optimize system performance to reduce energy consumption and operational costs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility management, specifically within Data Centres or similar industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) and AutoCAD is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Valid Engineer's license (if applicable) and strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
