Are you a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer looking to specialize in high-stakes infrastructure? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Kajang to lead the design and implementation of advanced fire protection systems for mission-critical Data Centers.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of engineering safety and compliance, ensuring that world-class data facilities are protected against fire hazards through innovative mechanical solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, consult on regulatory standards, and oversee projects from the conceptual design phase through to successful site installation. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop comprehensive fire protection and suppression systems (wet/dry pipe, gas suppression) specifically for data center environments.
- Prepare accurate technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment specifications in compliance with NFPA and local fire safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure installations align with engineering designs and safety standards.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing to ensure optimal system pressure and performance.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and budgetary adherence.
- Review and interpret project blueprints to identify potential design conflicts and implement effective engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and submission reports for regulatory authorities and internal audits.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2-5 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering, with a specific focus on fire protection systems (FPS).
- Familiarity with data center critical infrastructure and high-availability facility requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM/Revit software for detailed design work.
- Deep understanding of local fire safety codes, NFPA standards, and international building regulations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex mechanical problems under project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
