Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop detailed mechanical drawings for ship propellers and thruster systems using CAD software.
- Conduct thorough hydrodynamic and stress analysis to ensure structural integrity and system performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly teams to supervise the fabrication of propulsion components.
- Perform field testing and quality assurance checks on finished propulsion systems before installation.
- Optimize existing designs to improve fuel efficiency and reduce noise/vibration profiles.
- Create technical documentation, including manuals and maintenance procedures for end-users.
- Troubleshoot technical issues arising during the design or installation phase of marine hardware.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in marine mechanical design or a related maritime engineering role.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Rhino).
- Strong knowledge of material science, particularly regarding corrosion resistance in saltwater environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and industry standard regulations.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Batam.
