Are you a hands-on Mechanical Engineer looking to grow your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Superpet Plastic Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our operations team in Tuas. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plastic production machinery.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our high-output plastic manufacturing equipment. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a factory setting and is committed to minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and rapid response repairs.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on blow moulding and injection moulding machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults to ensure continuous production.
- Oversee the upkeep of auxiliary equipment including air compressors, industrial chillers, and cooling systems.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine cycle times and output quality.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation for all machinery repairs.
- Ensure all workplace safety standards and protocols are strictly adhered to during maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new production machinery when required.
- Source and manage spare parts inventory to ensure quick turnaround times for repairs.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with plastic moulding machinery.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency in basic hand tools and power tools required for industrial maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Willingness to work in the Tuas industrial area and adapt to production-driven timelines.
- Good communication skills in English.
