Vinda is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our high-performing team in Bukit Raja, Selangor. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that our Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and complex manufacturing machinery operate at peak efficiency.
As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the mechanical integrity of our facility. You will work closely with our engineering team to perform preventive maintenance, execute urgent repairs, and optimize equipment performance to support our production targets. We are looking for a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is dedicated to workplace safety and operational excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and ASRS equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimize machine downtime.
- Install, calibrate, and upgrade mechanical systems and components according to technical specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all equipment adheres to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory records for spare parts and tools.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machine efficiency and reliability.
- Respond promptly to technical breakdowns and emergency repair requests on the production floor.
- Adhere strictly to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work on shifts and respond to on-call maintenance duties when required.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
