Wei Dat Steel Wire is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Technician to join our operations team in Batu Gajah, Perak. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our plant machinery through proactive maintenance and efficient repairs. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Execute welding tasks, including MIG and TIG processes, for repairs and fabrication.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety protocols and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs and repair records.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinery efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Assist in minor fabrication and modification of machine parts as needed.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or steel wire plant environment.
- Proven experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong welding skills with valid welding certification (WPS).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a factory setting.
