- Inspect mechanical components and systems to identify issues and ensure optimal performance
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty parts, including engines, pumps, and other marine machinery
- Conduct routine testing and maintenance on mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns
- Use basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and fix mechanical problems
- Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment, adhering to all safety protocols
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs for record-keeping and future reference
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
Kualifikasi
- Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in a marine or heavy machinery environment
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components, especially in marine applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid certification in mechanical maintenance or marine technology is a plus
