Tanggung Jawab
- Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on marine vessel mechanical systems, including propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify mechanical failures and execute timely repairs.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with international marine safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Maintain detailed service logs and technical reports for all performed repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to oversee installations and system upgrades during vessel dry-docking or shipyard periods.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and report critical shortages to ensure equipment availability.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of new mechanical components to ensure optimal performance.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant marine-focused discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in marine engine repair, hydraulic systems, or general vessel maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading technical blueprints, engineering schematics, and service manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to work in marine environments, including engine rooms and shipyard conditions.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) practices.
- Good communication skills in English to interface with cross-functional technical teams.
