PT Wahana Inti Selaras is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mekanik to join our team in Balikpapan. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our operational excellence, ensuring that our fleet of heavy agricultural machinery—specifically John Deere equipment—remains in peak condition. We are looking for a professional with a strong technical background who is passionate about equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative care to maximize fleet uptime and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with site supervisors and field operators to identify mechanical issues, execute complex repairs, and perform routine maintenance schedules. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform thorough inspections, diagnostic testing, and troubleshooting of John Deere agricultural machinery.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high equipment availability and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide repair processes.
- Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and service logs accurately in the maintenance management system.
- Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure timely availability of components for ongoing repairs.
- Adhere strictly to Occupational Health and Safety (K3) regulations and company environmental policies at all times.
- Provide technical support and guidance to machine operators regarding proper equipment handling and daily checks.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Vocational High School (SMK) degree in Automotive Engineering, Heavy Equipment, or related technical field.
- Proven professional experience as a Mechanic, ideally with heavy equipment or agricultural machinery.
- Specific knowledge of John Deere equipment systems is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex hydraulic and engine faults.
- Willingness to be based in Balikpapan and travel to project sites as required.
- Proficiency in using manual and power tools, as well as diagnostic software/scanners.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and a disciplined approach to documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a team-oriented environment.
