Your Role
As the MEP Senior Engineer, you will take full ownership of the MEP scope for high-profile projects. This includes leading design reviews, managing site installations, ensuring stringent compliance with local regulations (MS IEC, UBBL, DOSH), and driving value engineering initiatives. You will be the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination between disciplines and delivering projects on time and within budget.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with at least 8 years of relevant MEP engineering experience in the construction industry. You must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and preferably be registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Deep proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and strong project management capabilities are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, ready to mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across the board.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design, coordination, and supervision of MEP systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects in Johor.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure all MEP works strictly adhere to Malaysian regulations (MS IEC, UBBL, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, DOSH) and international standards.
- Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement value engineering solutions to optimize MEP system performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections, witness testing & commissioning, and ensure MEP installations meet the highest quality and safety benchmarks.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of junior engineers and CAD technicians, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Prepare and deliver detailed progress reports, presentations, and technical documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 8-10 years of post-graduate experience in MEP engineering, specifically within the Malaysian construction industry.
- Registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and/or Certified Energy Manager is a strong advantage.
- Proven proficiency in MEP design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux Evo, and Navisworks.
- Extensive knowledge of Malaysian standards, Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL), and relevant international codes (ASHRAE, IEEE, NFPA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Adept at managing multiple priorities, leading project meetings, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
