Vita Shopindo is seeking a strategic, analytical, and highly driven Merchandise (MD) Manager to lead our category management and merchandising operations in Jakarta Barat. In this role, you will be responsible for driving category growth, optimizing inventory levels, and fostering strong supplier relationships to ensure our product offerings align perfectly with market demands and company profitability goals.
As a Merchandise Manager, you will lead a dedicated category management team, analyzing competitor movements, consumer trends, and sales data to implement high-impact promotion planning and pricing strategies. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive category and merchandising strategies to maximize sales volume and margins.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships with key suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable commercial terms.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the category management and merchandising team to consistently achieve organizational KPIs.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement effective inventory control mechanisms to minimize stockouts and overstock.
- Design and execute seasonal promotion planning, product placement strategies, and competitive pricing models.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis and market research to identify emerging trends and new product sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to streamline product launches.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of professional experience in merchandising, category management, or retail buying.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and margin management.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in retail math, inventory forecasting, and advanced Excel.
- Proven leadership experience managing a team in a fast-paced retail or consumer goods environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple product lines and promotional calendars simultaneously.
