Are you an experienced Messaging Infrastructure professional looking to elevate your career? B & M Global Services Manila, Inc. is seeking a skilled and proactive Messaging Engineer to join our high-performing IT Operations team in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). In this role, you will act as a key subject matter expert providing critical second- and third-line support for our enterprise messaging systems, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across our global network.
As a Messaging Engineer, you will manage a robust hybrid environment, bridging legacy platforms with modern cloud solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining the health, security, and performance of our Microsoft Exchange systems, Enterprise Vault archiving, and cutting-edge email security gateways. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide expert Level 2 and Level 3 support for Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environments, including Exchange Online (Microsoft 365) and Exchange On-Premises.
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Veritas/Symantec Enterprise Vault (EV) archiving systems to ensure high availability and compliant data retention.
- Administer, tune, and optimize Email Security and Protection services (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast, or Exchange Online Protection) to block spam, phishing, and malware threats.
- Analyze and resolve complex mail routing, transport rules, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC alignment and delivery issues.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patches, security updates, and plan migrations across the messaging stack.
- Collaborate with Security Operations and Network teams to implement messaging security policies, disaster recovery plans, and compliance audits.
- Create and maintain high-quality operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, and service management documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3 to 5+ years of solid hands-on experience supporting Exchange Hybrid configurations (on-premises Exchange and Microsoft 365 Exchange Online).
- Proven experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-grade archiving systems, specifically Enterprise Vault (EV).
- Strong working knowledge of Email Security Gateways, secure email relay, and email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administrative automation and reporting tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose performance, integration, and mail-flow issues under strict SLAs.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for interfacing with global stakeholders and technical partners.
- Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., MS-203 Microsoft 365 Messaging or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
