As a Section Head, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational excellence of our metal finishing production lines. You will lead a dedicated team of maintenance engineers and technicians, driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing equipment uptime, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance engineers and technical staff to ensure peak operational performance.
- Oversee the preventative and predictive maintenance schedules for all metal finishing equipment to minimize machine downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement projects (Kaizen/Six Sigma) to enhance process efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Analyze equipment failure root causes and implement robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations and internal company standards.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement and cost-effective maintenance support.
- Prepare regular performance reports and technical documentation for senior management to track maintenance KPIs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in equipment maintenance, specifically within semiconductor, plating, or metal finishing industries.
- Proven track record in leadership and people management, with the ability to foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems, automation, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and FMEA methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure manufacturing environment with a focus on achieving operational targets.
