Morning Star Milling Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Mill Silo Operator to join our manufacturing facility in Pasig City. This is a critical role within our production chain, ensuring the seamless intake, storage, and movement of wheat raw materials to support our high-capacity milling operations.
As a Mill Silo Operator, you will be the guardian of our grain supply. You will manage the technical systems responsible for wheat intake, recycling, and transfer, ensuring that the mill is consistently supplied with high-quality materials. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the efficient intake and unloading of wheat from transport vehicles into the storage silos.
- Monitor and operate automated wheat recycling and transfer systems to maintain optimal mill feed rates.
- Perform regular inspections of silo temperatures and moisture levels to ensure grain quality and prevent spoilage.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on conveyors, elevators, and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of grain inventory, including receipts, transfers, and current stock levels.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety (HACCP) and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality Control departments to facilitate correct grain blending and cleaning processes.
- Keep the silo and intake areas clean and organized in accordance with industrial 5S standards.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of a High School diploma; completion of a Vocational or Technical course (Mechanical/Electrical) is highly preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, milling, or warehouse environment.
- Basic knowledge of operating Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and heavy industrial machinery.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in an industrial plant environment, which may involve heights and dusty conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex operational procedures accurately.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills for coordinating with the logistics and production teams.
