We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Mine Plan Engineer to join our mining operations team in Kapuas Hulu, Kalimantan Tengah. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of strategic mine plans that maximize operational productivity while ensuring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will leverage advanced geological modeling and mine design software to optimize extraction sequences and pit designs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, geology, and surveying, to bridge the gap between long-term strategic vision and day-to-day operational execution. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain comprehensive short-term and long-term mine production schedules.
- Optimize pit designs and extraction sequences to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all mining activities comply with current safety standards, environmental regulations, and mining laws.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the geology team to integrate block models into actionable mine plans.
- Prepare detailed reports for management regarding production progress, reserve estimation, and fleet utilization.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor plan implementation and provide technical guidance to operational teams.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in mine planning, specifically in open-cut mining environments.
- Proficiency in industry-standard mine design software such as Surpac, Vulcan, MineScape, or Deswik.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian mining regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable strategies.
- Strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Willingness to be based in remote site locations in Kalimantan Tengah.
- Possession of a POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certification is highly desirable.
