As an MIS Reports Analyst, you will be the key architect of our data insights, responsible for developing robust reporting systems that empower management with actionable intelligence. You will work within a collaborative environment, liaising with various departments to identify data needs and translate them into comprehensive dashboards and reports. Your work will directly contribute to improving efficiency, reducing costs, and identifying new opportunities for business transformation.
Responsibilities will include transforming raw datasets into clear, visually appealing reports using advanced Excel functions, Power BI, and SQL. You will be expected to perform deep-dive analyses to troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure the highest level of data integrity. Furthermore, you will automate reporting workflows, freeing up valuable time for strategic analysis. A core part of your role will be to mentor junior team members and establish best practices for data governance and reporting standards across the department.
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence. A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required, along with proven experience in a similar MIS capacity. Technical proficiency in SQL, VBA, and BI tools is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders. - Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive MIS dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
- Analyze large datasets to identify business trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and HR stakeholders to define reporting KPIs and SLAs aligned with business objectives.
- Automate manual reporting processes through VBA scripting and SQL query optimization.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and cross-referencing with source systems.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and presentations for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users on self-service analytics tools.
- Document reporting standards, procedures, and data dictionaries to maintain consistency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MIS Analyst, Reports Analyst, or Data Analyst.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Power Query, Pivot Tables, complex formulas).
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView is mandatory.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
