Are you a detail-oriented Process Engineer looking to make a significant impact in the semiconductor industry? Coherent is currently seeking a talented MOL Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak. In this critical role, you will take full ownership of the process yields for your designated area, ensuring the highest levels of product quality and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for establishing and implementing all appropriate actions to improve manufacturing processes and resolve yield issues. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will troubleshoot complex process anomalies, refine standard operating procedures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with Coherent's global standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and analyze process yields to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Establish and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve yield defects.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams to optimize production lines.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process anomalies to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
- Document process changes, maintain detailed quality logs, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on non-conforming products and implement long-term solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen) to drive operational efficiency and safety.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical) or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in process engineering within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of yield management, statistical process control (SPC), and quality systems.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and process simulation software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with local safety regulations and GMP standards is a plus.
