Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and maintain engine room machinery including propulsion systems and auxiliary equipment
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems
- Monitor vessel performance parameters and report operational irregularities
- Execute safety drills and emergency response procedures according to maritime regulations
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance in technical logs
- Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize vessel efficiency and reliability
- Ensure compliance with international maritime safety and environmental standards (SOLAS, MARPOL)
Kualifikasi
- Certification as Motorman or equivalent maritime qualification (STCW VI/4)
- Minimum 2 years experience on cargo, bulk, or cement carrier vessels
- Proficiency in diesel engine operation, hydraulic systems, and auxiliary machinery
- Valid seafarer's documentation and required medical certifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of cargo handling procedures specific to bulk and cement carriers
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities in multicultural settings
