Sri KDU International School Kota Damansara is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students across all grade levels in the art of music. As a key member of our dynamic education team, you will deliver a comprehensive music curriculum that nurtures creativity, technical skill, and an appreciation for diverse musical traditions.
You will plan and conduct engaging lessons that cover music theory, composition, instrumental performance, and vocal training, while preparing students for school concerts, competitions, and community events. Collaborating with colleagues, you will integrate music across subjects and support the schoolâs cultural enrichment programs.

Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, prepare, and deliver highâquality music lessons aligned with the schoolâs curriculum and international standards.
- Organize and direct school concerts, recitals, and extracurricular music ensembles, including choirs, bands, and orchestras.
- Assess student progress through performances, evaluations, and feedback, maintaining accurate records and reporting outcomes.
- Maintain and manage music instruments, equipment, and resources, ensuring a safe and organized learning environment.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate music into crossâcurricular projects and school events.
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and parentâteacher conferences to support student growth and community engagement.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field; teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.) is advantageous.
- Proven experience teaching music at primary or secondary level, preferably in an international school setting.
- Strong proficiency in at least one instrument and solid knowledge of music theory, composition, and notation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to inspire students of varying abilities and cultural backgrounds.
- Right to work in Malaysia and clear background check.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional learning and innovative teaching practices.
