Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and structural engineering for newbuild marine vessels, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Utilize advanced ship design software (e.g., NAPA, AutoCAD, Tribon) to create detailed plans, 3D models, and production drawings.
- Conduct structural analysis and weight estimation to ensure vessel integrity and cost-efficiency.
- Review and approve technical documentation, including specifications, bills of materials, and construction drawings.
- Ensure all designs strictly adhere to international classification rules (e.g., DNV, ABS) and local maritime regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction.
- Participate in design reviews and technical meetings to communicate design intent and engineering solutions effectively.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in naval architecture, with a strong focus on newbuild projects and ship design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as NAPA, Tribon, AutoCAD, or similar naval architecture tools.
- Strong understanding of ship construction processes, materials, and classification society rules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Willingness to travel to shipyards or project sites as required.
