Tanggung Jawab
- Perform a variety of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on aircraft engine components, including Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Radiographic Testing (RT), adhering to industry standards and client specifications.
- Interpret and evaluate inspection results against engineering drawings, technical data, and relevant aerospace quality standards (e.g., ASNT, EN4179, FAA, EASA, CAAS).
- Prepare detailed NDT reports, documenting findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions as required, ensuring accurate and traceable records.
- Operate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functioning in accordance with operational procedures and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve inspection issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the development and optimization of NDT procedures and techniques to enhance inspection efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies within the MRO facility.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors or technicians as needed, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
Kualifikasi
- NDT Level II certification in at least two of the following methods: Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), or Radiographic Testing (RT), in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent aerospace standards (e.g., EN4179).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience performing NDT inspections within an Aerospace MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment, specifically on aircraft engine components.
- Proven knowledge of aircraft engine structures, materials, and common failure modes, particularly related to Trent engines or similar large turbofan engines.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA Part 145, EASA Part 145, CAAS) is essential.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from complex technical drawings, blueprints, repair manuals, and NDT procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail to accurately detect and characterize defects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant technical diploma or equivalent qualification in engineering, aerospace technology, or a related field.
