Optum, a leading health and technology company focused on helping people live healthier lives, is looking for a skilled Network Consultant to join our team in Metro Manila. As a Network Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for our critical healthcare services.
In this position, you will leverage your expertise in SD-WAN (Silver Peak/Viptela), LAN/WAN, and wireless technologies to architect robust network solutions. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of network projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and optimization. Additionally, you will collaborate with security teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
We require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CWNA are highly valued. You should have strong analytical skills, be able to troubleshoot complex network issues, and have experience with network monitoring and automation tools.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and deploy SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and reliability across multiple sites.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and support wireless networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and integrate solutions into existing architectures.
- Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
- Monitor network performance and resolve complex escalations to ensure high availability.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in networking.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Cisco Viptela or Silver Peak).
- In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and routing/switching.
- Experience with wireless networking, including controllers, APs, and security.
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, CWNA, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
