Eng Kong Container Agencies (Pte) Ltd is expanding its IT infrastructure at our new Mega Depot in Tuas, and we are looking for a dedicated Network Technician to support this exciting initiative. Tanggung Jawab
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in the deployment and setup of IT infrastructure within the new Mega Depot environment.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify potential security threats or bottlenecks.
- Provide technical support to internal employees, resolving connectivity issues and network-related queries efficiently.
- Conduct cable management and physical network cabling tasks, ensuring clean and organized wiring.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new IT projects, upgrades, and security protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum NITEC in IT or equivalent technical certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in network administration, technical support, or IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong understanding of network security best practices and data protection compliance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work shifts or overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
