As an NPI Engineer at Sys-Mac, you will be a pivotal force in the product lifecycle, acting as the primary technical bridge between design engineering and manufacturing operations. Your mission will be to ensure that new automation platforms are robustly designed, rigorously tested, and efficiently launched into production. You will lead cross-functional NPI project teams, drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives, and manage the complete process development lifecycle from prototype to full-scale production ramp. Tanggung Jawab

  • Lead and manage end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, coordinating activities across Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
  • Develop, document, and validate manufacturing processes, assembly instructions, and test procedures for new automation platforms.
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews to enhance product reliability, reduce costs, and improve cycle times.
  • Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and routing structures within the ERP system, managing engineering changes (ECOs/ECNs).
  • Specify and procure necessary tooling, fixtures, and capital equipment to support new product manufacturing.
  • Oversee pilot production runs, analyze manufacturing data, and resolve technical issues to ensure a smooth ramp-up to high-volume production.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of quality components and sub-assemblies.
  • Provide technical training to production technicians and operators, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience as an NPI Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Process Engineer within the automation, semiconductor, or precision engineering industry.
  • Deep technical expertise in automation systems, including servo drives, pneumatics, vision inspection, and robotic integration.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting (SolidWorks preferred) and a strong understanding of GD&T.
  • Solid experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, and electrical panel assembly.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience using root cause analysis tools (e.g., Fishbone, 5-Why, FMEA).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
