Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for all cable harness and assembly projects, ensuring design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles are applied.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Procurement, to ensure timely project delivery.
- Develop and document detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for harness assembly lines.
- Perform prototype builds, first-article inspections, and pilot runs to identify potential process bottlenecks.
- Optimize assembly line layouts and tooling requirements to enhance throughput and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during production ramp-up and implement corrective actions.
- Train production operators on new product assembly processes and quality standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in NPI or Manufacturing Engineering, specifically within the cable harness or electronic assembly industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cable harness assembly standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620).
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malay to collaborate with diverse teams.
