About the Role
Carsem, a leading provider of turnkey packaging and test services to the semiconductor industry, is seeking a meticulous and proactive NPI Planner for our S-Site in Jelapang, Perak. This is a critical role within our supply chain and manufacturing operations, focused on the successful transition of new products from the design phase to full-scale production.
As an NPI Planner, you will be the heartbeat of our production coordination, ensuring that every new product introduction (NPI) project meets its milestones. You will work in a high-tech semiconductor environment where precision and speed are paramount. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between engineering, procurement, and the production floor, ensuring material readiness and eliminating bottlenecks before they impact delivery schedules.

Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and oversee production activities specifically for New Product Introductions (NPI) to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Develop and manage comprehensive production schedules, ensuring all material kits and resources are ready for scheduled runs.
- Monitor and track Work-in-Progress (WIP) on the manufacturing floor to ensure timely delivery and identify potential delays.
- Liaise closely with Engineering, Sales, and Production departments to align project timelines with customer requirements.
- Analyze material requirements and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels for new projects.
- Generate detailed reports on project status, production yields, and delivery performance for management review.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the NPI lifecycle.
- Facilitate post-launch reviews to document lessons learned and improve future product rollouts.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in production planning or NPI coordination, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes (OSAT environment) is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
