Plexus is seeking an experienced NPI Process Engineer to join our team in Penang. As an NPI Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring seamless transition of new products from development to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
This role requires a strong technical background in manufacturing processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in new product introduction, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) projects and manage process development activities.
- Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams during product ramp-up.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Conduct process validations, including IQ/OQ/PQ, and document results.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and SOPs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in NPI.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and process validation.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in English language; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
