We are looking for a dedicated NPI Process Technician to join our team and help us bridge the gap between innovation and mass production.
In this role, you will serve as the technical backbone of our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. You will be responsible for the hands-on execution of process qualifications, tool setup, and initial manufacturing ramp. You will work closely with Engineers to characterize new processes, identify potential risks, and implement robust solutions. Your ability to analyze data and troubleshoot complex issues in real-time will be critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks during the ramp-up phase, conducting experiments (DOE) to optimize process windows, and generating detailed reports for engineering review. You will be the first line of defense against process deviations, utilizing your knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fault Detection Classification (FDC) to maintain control. Tanggung Jawab
- Support the setup, configuration, and qualification of equipment and processes for new product introductions
- Collaborate with Process and Product Engineering teams to conduct process characterization and optimization trials
- Monitor process parameters during NPI runs, perform real-time troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions to maintain specification limits
- Collect, analyze, and report process data to drive yield improvement and defect reduction initiatives
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of process flows, deviations, change requests, and qualification results
- Assist in training production technicians on new process workflows, handling procedures, and safety protocols
- Perform preventive maintenance and qualification on NPI tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and support continuous improvement projects to enhance NPI cycle times and efficiency
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related technical field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Process Technician in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with New Product Introduction, process transfer, or technology ramp-up is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Failure Analysis methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, Excel, or Python, and familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Ability to work effectively in a cleanroom environment, follow strict safety protocols, and support shift work as required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team setting
