Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct thorough functional assessments of elderly patients to identify rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on ADL retraining and cognitive reintegration
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions including adaptive equipment training and sensory integration
- Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment strategies to optimize functional outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on compensatory techniques and home safety modifications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive geriatric care plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current registration with Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists (SAOT)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in geriatric rehabilitation or elderly care settings
- Strong assessment skills for age-related conditions including stroke, dementia, and orthopedic impairments
- Certification in geriatric occupational therapy or related specialization preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop evidence-based treatment plans for elderly populations
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and family counseling
