7-Eleven is seeking a reliable and skilled Officer, Handyman to join our operations team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. As a vital part of our facility management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers by performing essential repairs and general maintenance tasks.
In this role, you will be the go-to person for resolving technical issues ranging from minor plumbing leaks to more complex carpentry and civil works. Your expertise in water filter replacement and general upkeep will help us maintain a high-quality environment for both staff and shoppers. We are looking for a proactive individual who can work independently, troubleshoot problems efficiently, and contribute to the overall operational excellence of the 7-Eleven brand.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine repair and maintenance work on store facilities, including plumbing, civil, and carpentry tasks.
- Inspect and replace water filters to ensure water quality meets health and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs to minimize store downtime.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular checks of building systems and report any damages or defects to management.
- Assist in minor electrical tasks and general facility upkeep as required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience in general maintenance, plumbing, or carpentry is required.
- Basic knowledge of civil works and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and follow maintenance instructions.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Malaysian driver's license is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
