VDL ETG is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Operation Quality Assurance Inspector for a 1-year renewable contract position based at our state-of-the-art facility in Joo Koon, Singapore.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the final inspection of complex assembly products, ensuring they consistently meet our strict internal standards and our clients' exact quality specifications. Working within a precision-driven environment, you will play a key part in maintaining our reputation for engineering excellence and operational reliability.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform final visual and dimensional inspections of completed assembly products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM) to verify product dimensions.
- Identify, document, and report any product defects or deviations from quality standards, issuing non-conformance reports (NCR) when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to resolve quality issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation for traceability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root-cause analysis investigations for quality escapees.
- Adhere to workplace safety guidelines, cleanroom protocols, and 5S standards during all inspection processes.
Kualifikasi
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control (QA/QC) within a precision manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
- Hands-on experience with standard metrology, precision measurement tools, and inspection equipment.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a 1-year renewable contract structure.
