About the Role

As our Operations Driver, you are the face of our logistics operations. You will be entrusted with the safe and timely transport of our culinary masterpieces, equipment, and supplies to weddings, corporate galas, private events, and other special occasions. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and punctuality, and you will play a crucial role in upholding this reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and punctually transport halal food orders from the central kitchen to designated venues, event locations, and client premises.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned delivery vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness in compliance with halal standards.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of catering equipment, food containers, and supplies, ensuring proper handling to maintain quality and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including manifests, timesheets, and vehicle mileage reports, and communicate any delays or issues to the operations manager.
• Uphold strict adherence to road traffic regulations, company safety policies, and food safety guidelines (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and client interactions.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure the vehicle's stock of cleaning supplies, fuel, and necessary documentation is complete at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driving license (Class D or equivalent for commercial vehicle operation).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food and beverage or catering industry.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices within the Klang Valley / Selangor area.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25kg) as part of loading and unloading duties.
• Excellent time management skills with a strong sense of punctuality and reliability.
• Familiarity with halal food handling and hygiene standards is highly advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or transportation is a plus.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
