In this highly visible and impactful role, you will serve as a key strategic business partner to the Operations and Merchandising departments. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will take complete ownership of critical financial processes, including comprehensive sales audit, inventory cost management, detailed budgeting and forecasting, and rigorous profitability analysis for each store and product category. - Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the retail network, including sales audit, cash management, and accounts reconciliation.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of store profitability, product margins, and operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency.
- Prepare and manage the annual operating budget and rolling financial forecasts in close partnership with operational stakeholders across the business.
- Monitor and analyze inventory performance, including stock levels, turnover rates, shrinkage, and provisions for markdowns and obsolescence.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and external regulatory requirements such as PFRS and BIR regulations.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, management accounts, and insightful variance analyses for the senior leadership team.
- Support the Finance Manager in strategic projects, including system enhancements (e.g., ERP upgrades), process automation initiatives, and financial modeling for new business cases.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audit processes specifically related to operational finance cycles.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or any related business discipline.
- At least 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis, ideally within a retail, FMCG, or e-commerce environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, complex financial modeling) and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle) is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data with exceptional accuracy and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred but not strictly required for candidates with strong, directly relevant experience and a proven track record.
- Must be willing to work onsite at our Libis, Quezon City office and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
