Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operations of the Ocean & Clearance Department to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.
- Ensure all shipping documentation, bills of lading, and customs clearance procedures are accurate and compliant with local laws.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, conducting regular performance reviews and training sessions.
- Analyze operational metrics and identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders to resolve logistical bottlenecks.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of service satisfaction and retention.
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in operations management, with a specific focus on ocean freight and clearance.
- Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, shipping regulations, and customs clearance procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Malay (preferred).
