NIK LAH SDN BHD, a dynamic and growing force in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry, is excited to offer a practical internship opportunity (Praktikal) for a motivated OPERATOR PERABOT at our headquarters in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in a relevant program who are eager to translate their academic knowledge into tangible skills on the production floor.
As an OPERATOR PERABOT intern, you will be immersed in the end-to-end furniture manufacturing process. From the initial handling of raw materials to the precise operation of woodworking machinery, assembly, finishing, and final quality assurance, you will learn the standards that define our excellence. You will work side-by-side with skilled technicians and supervisors who will guide you through best practices in production efficiency, safety protocols, and logistics coordination.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of furniture production machinery and equipment.
- Support the assembly, sanding, finishing, and packaging teams to meet daily production targets.
- Handle and organize raw materials, tools, and finished inventory within the warehouse and production area.
- Conduct quality control checks on semi-finished and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with the logistics department in preparing orders for dispatch and managing stock records.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
- Document processes and assist supervisors with basic production reports.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the furniture manufacturing and logistics industry.
- Basic understanding of production workflows and quality assurance concepts.
- Must be a team player with good communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia and basic English).
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and handle light to moderate lifting.
- Available to commit to the full duration of the required practical training period.
- Prior experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment (added advantage).
