Are you an expert in underground mining machinery with a passion for developing talent? Sandvik is seeking a highly skilled Operator Trainer to join our team in Kemasik, Terengganu. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing operational performance, ensuring equipment safety, and driving cost efficiencies for our underground mining clients.
You will serve as the primary technical subject matter expert, training site operators on the safe, efficient, and productive use of Sandvik underground equipment. By bridging the gap between machine capability and operator proficiency, you will directly impact our clients' bottom line and capital profitability. Tanggung Jawab
- Deliver high-quality technical and operational training for Sandvik underground mining equipment to site personnel.
- Assess operator proficiency and identify skill gaps, creating tailored training plans to improve performance.
- Monitor equipment usage data to provide insights that drive fuel efficiency, reduce machine downtime, and minimize maintenance costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and site-specific operational protocols.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot recurring operator-related equipment issues.
- Maintain comprehensive training records and report on skill development progress to site management.
- Support the implementation of new technology and equipment upgrades through effective knowledge transfer.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5+ years of experience operating or training on underground mining equipment (Loaders, Trucks, Drills).
- Strong understanding of underground mining environments and health & safety regulations.
- Proven ability to facilitate technical training sessions for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence operational behaviors.
- Technical certification in heavy equipment operation or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
- Willingness to travel to remote sites as needed to support training initiatives.
